These autographs are guarenteed though. You aren't guarenteed any autographs when you go to Spring Training or a regular minor league game.

You aren't guaranteed autographs at Spring Training or regular minor league games, but most of the time you will come away with the autos. You aren't guaranteed autos at the "holy grail" event either. They might be "forced" to sign, but they won't be "forced" to sign more than 1.

Well lets see a typical minor league game ticket is about $6 and there are two teams there. I would have to say I could find an event that is cheaper and better. A typical minor league spring training facility is free and there are upward of 150 players and coaches there. So if you live in Florida or Arizona that is a better deal as well. I typically don't have problems getting autographs at either.

Point made, but if you had done this last year and gotten
the key prospects on a sweet spot (Papelbon, Pedroia, Lester,
Hanley, Murphy, Moss, West, Delcarmen) and came back later
to get Hansen you would have done pretty well...

Holy Grail of Autographing??

With a post like that I figured I would see Hank Aaron, Snady Koufax and Willie Mays were all signing for free at one place. That would be a "Holy Grail".

A minor league team signing......hmmm.......I'm not so sure about that.

Good luck though.
