Free Event - April 4, 3:30-6:30 PM
The Thunder have announced that the team will host a free event at Waterfront Park called “Trenton Thunder All Access Night 2007â€, on Wednesday, April 4 at 3:30 PM.
This is the second year for the free event that will feature a Thunder batting practice session, tours of the press box, Trenton Baseball Hall of Fame, team clubhouses and hitting tunnels as well as a 45 minute autograph/photograph session on the field. Waterfront Park will open to the public at 3:30 PM on April 4 and the event will run until approximately 6:30. Concession stands and the Thunder Company Store will be open throughout the event. This is a rain or shine event.
Members of the Thunder’s 90% Club, a group of season ticket holders who attended at least 90% of the team’s games last year, will have a special reception in the Yankee Club and Conference Center from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. The reception will feature dinner and a 45 minute exclusive “meet and greet†with Thunder team members.
“Our goal is to provide an intimate event where fans can watch practice, see some parts of the stadium they normally don’t get to see and to meet the new team and get autographs,†said Thunder General Manager Brad Taylor. “This is a great way for fans to come out to the ballpark early and greet the new team before games begin on April 5.â€
The Thunder will play their first game on April 5 at 7:05 against the Bowie Baysox, Double A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Opening Night will feature a Magnetic Schedule Giveaway for the first 2,000 fans and a post-game fireworks display courtesy of Verizon Yellow Pages. Thunder season tickets, half season tickets, Mini Ticket Packages, Pic-A-Plans and individual game tickets are all on sale now by calling 609-394-3300 or online at www.trentonthunder.com.
