Private Signing questions

I was just wondering about some of these signings that are posted...

How is it that we can get Carl Crawford for $22, Francisco Liriano for $16, Robin Roberts for $29 and $49 (I think), but then Heyward (who's been automatic at the park) is $65+ and some of the other guys are over $100?

Do you guys come up with a price when you are negotiating the signing or are you just saying you want to have one and letting the player set the price? I'm not hating on anyone; I'm just curious as to how this works.

maybe automatic but you never no what kinda sig your gonna get from heyward..

Agents ask for different amounts...popularity at the time contributes too

Some taking private signings factor in "their take" too.....I've seen at least 3 examples of private signings by a member here within the last 2 months that Tom Orr has had this year for HALF the price. Hey, if people will pay it, more power to you.
