Anyone know who will be at the A's Caravan next week. I have not seen a lineup yet. If anyone gets one please post it here. Thanks!

So far they announced these players going to the fanfest:
Joe Blanton
Milton Bradley
Bobby Crosby
Mark Ellis
Rich Harden
Dan Haren
Bobby Kielty
Mark Kotsay
Nick Swisher
Bob Geren
Ray Fosse

I"m willing to send cards also, anyone?

Thanks for some of the names. More are to be announced on the 22nd.

Hey mkov,

Thanks for the names, but could you point me to where you heard this annoucement? Also, does anyone know how the autographs at Fanfest work for the A's? I know you have to buy tickets, but are they for specific players, groups, etc.? If someone who went last year could let us know about your experience that'd be great.

I received an e-mail from the A's a couple days ago. Last year they put players into groups of 2 and you buy a ticket for each group. You get one autograph per player.

Here's how I did last year:

I went to the A's fanfest years ago and it was horrible. They had 2-3 tables set up at a time and had about 4 shifts throughout the day. The lines were so long you could only do one table from each shift then it's 2 hours of standing around before another one starts.

The people that did best avoided the tables all together and got players as they were going to and from the activities (some players went into a room and read books to kids, some did other stuff) but I had heard they cracked down on allowing players to sign anywhere but the tables.

If you just go before a game during the season, you'll get more autographs than you will at this thing, it's a huge waste of time and money IMO.
