I forgot to mention that I got Jose Sosa to sign today at his house and Mario Soto and Junior Noboa at the baseball complex. If anyone needs any Noboa signed cards let me know.

I was a trained linguist/interrogator in the military so I've had a lot of practice but basically I just find a way to relate to the guy on his level. Some guys are harder than others to run an approach on.

I can't tell all my secrets but I've been told that I pay better than every other American who's come here to do this.

The secret is pretty obvious. The dude pays the players X amounts of dollars to sign (better than most americans I assume) then he charges us twice that amount or more to cover his expensives and come out a little on top.

As long as the dude is good and everybody gets their stuff back, there is nothing wrong at all with him making money off of this.

Right on. Don't know about anyone else, but I have no plans of running all around the Dominican anytime soon. I don't speak the language all that well and it's a dangerous place if you don't know where to be and when to be there. If John makes a few bucks in the process, he deserves every penny.

Thanks for the compliment and understanding. I wish I was making double on each signature. Factor in what I pay the guy to sign, plus my contact at $50 per day plus a rental car at $50 per day plus gas at $6.50/gallon and then taking these guys out to lunch or dinner sometimes...........I'm not making much if anything. I actually lose money on the guys who live far away from the capitol but it's worth it if it's someone we all need bad like Ramon Pena.
