Smith was not retained by indians last year. Also Carl's Cards had him this past summer at the store.

I was wrong. Looks like Dykstra did show up ... and nearly brawled with Mitch Williams.

I managed to get out pretty quick - and before the Williams/Dykstra incident. Brett was cordial enough and then I stopped at Carl's on the way home to get Roly de Armas, interim bullpen coach durign the 08 WS, since I had an extra 08 WS ball and figured I'd put him on the bat. And I guess I missed Smith over the summer. I let my signingshotline expire. Oh well the Poppel's haven't had him yet so maybe there is still hope.

Thanks for posting! Another member pm'd me as well! Reds will be in town in May and a foundation I'm on the board of (kevinfromheaven.org) will have it's night at the ball park for the Friday night game. Last year we sold over 1,200 tickets. I got him through the mail before so maybe I can arrange something ahead of time. Thanks again!
