Arizona Fall League Pat Tillman Foundation Benefit Night

The Arizona Fall League, Major League Baseball's annual showcase league that brings many of baseball's elite prospect to the Valley of the Sun each autumn, holds its third annual Pat Tillman Foundation Benefit Night on Friday, October 23 at Scottsdale Stadium. The Scottsdale Scorpions host the Peoria Javelinas at 6:35 p.m. Gates open at 5:30p.m. Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Eric Byrnes, who played high school football against Tillman in northern California, will appear at the event that will feature a sports memorabilia auction before and during the game. Pre-game ceremonies also will include the introduction of Tillman Scholars. All proceeds from the sports memorabilia auction and one-half of the night's gate receipts will be donated to the Pat Tillman Foundation.
