ERIE, Pa. -- The Erie SeaWolves announced the cancellation of their 2006 Hot Stove Banquet, scheduled for Jan. 26, 2006. The SeaWolves are calling off the event due to schedule conflicts among the 2006 SeaWolves coaching staff and special guests. This would have been the third Hot Stove Banquet hosted by the SeaWolves.
"It is unfortunate that we have to cancel the Hot Stove Banquet. While confirming the attendance of the 2006 SeaWolves coaching staff, past players and keynote speaker, it became apparent that scheduling conflicts with events such as Major League Baseball fantasy baseball camps and other events would make it impossible to create the banquet that SeaWolves fans deserve," explained, SeaWolves general manager, John Frey. "We fully intend to bring back the event next year."

The SeaWolves 2006 season opens with a seven game road trip starting on April 6. The SeaWolves home opener will be on April 13 as they take on the Bowie Baysox starting at 6:35 p.m. Season tickets and mini-plans are available online at www.seawolves.com.
