I actually like this trend. I helps for a quick reference on what HOFers sign TTM and how long they take without having to sort through 100 of posts that don't pertain to HOFers. I have seen lots of trends started with people asking "What HOFers sign TTM, or Who in the HOF should I send a OMLB to TTM"

Now I just hope I can use some of the information in this trend to help me get a few of my own TTM HOF items done. Going to drop Kell and Harwell in the mail later today.

couple of reasons...

First, it seems every few weeks people post "What HOF'er sghould I send Baseballs too", "What hof'ers sign for free", "What Hofer charges", etc...

Second, I decided to send to Hofers, and I didn't want to "be that guy" and ask the same dumb questions, so I serached the forums, and it took FOREVER! This will save time if you are ONLY looking to send to Baseball HOF'ers. I honestly don't care if 'Jim Lideman signs someone's custom', so it will save time if you are only interested in the 'big fish' (and you're cheap like me! I'm not gonna pay $25 for Geroge Kell, etc...). So at least in my experience the 'other thread' (monthly?) doesn't "work quite well". It works, but it takes a long time to see what someone sent in June 2007, etc...

Chuck Bednarik 2/1, 9/8 to 9/17. Signed my card and sent his own postcard signed.

Monte Irvin 2/2, 9/08 to 9/19

Sparky Anderson 1/2, signed my 8x10, sent my card back unsigned 10/8 to 10/14

Joe Dumars c/o Pistons 1/1 (8x10). I sent a $20 check which he returned uncashed.10/16 to 10/30

I like the idea of the branching threads like this, but they all need to be cleaned up somehow... it doesn't make sense to have things posted in the general thread, then in other possible threads as well, it just clutters the board.
