Well his name kind've rang a bell for someone who stopped a streak then I checked him up and after looking through a book for a little bit I found that he stopped Rose's hitting streak. Thanks a whole lot man, I'll be sure to make a trivial contest in here soon.

He didnt stop Rose's hitting streak. Look here. On his MLB Debut, he SO 1 but in that same game, Pete Rose got 2 hits. You sure Pete Rose was first person he SO? I live in Cincy and Im a huge Reds fan and that name didnt ring a bell. (Although im only 16 - but I still know quite abit of trivia - especially Reds)
