Well, as an Indians fan, I hope Brantley does extremely well...

However, he's not going to replace Grady in center... Grady's one of the best defensive center fielders in the game...

Brantley will probably have to shift to left, considering my man, Sin Soo-Choo is holding down right field..

I have yet to call you back as I don't have the time to deal with you, nor do I care, especially when you called an 11 year old kid, whom you call regularly. I guess it's the other way around, huh? They seemed to enjoy an agent calling them frequently.

Everyone knows you go on here to bust people's balls. This goes back to TPA. You go on here to start arguments, and feed off everyone, and just add fuel to the fire. Everyone knows agents hate autographers who don't pay them or their clients. Everyone knows this, and knows agents tell their clients not to sign a lot, personalize, etc. The reason why this goes on, is you have nothing better to do than to come on here and argue with everyone.

LOL

You're on the hero list. Lots of tough internet talk SCARY!

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY PEOPLE JUMP ALL OVER YOU. ITS THIS KIND OF COCKY, MATTER OF FACT POSTS THAT ARE WRITTEN TO LIGHT A FIRE UNDER PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD. HEAVEN FORBID THAT A PLAYER CONTINUES TO HAVE GOOD SIGNING HABITS.....

Isnt there a message board for "agent" scum like you? If not, you should start one. There you can poke fun at autograph collectors and tell some real knee-slapping stories about how your crappy A ball clients dont sign a particular card - and then you get to go back after the fact and set up a private signing and make 50 bucks of off said collectors. That would really get 'em going!

You keep calling everyone "hero"...man, that is clever. You keep begging people to call you...why? Do you think that you are that smooth on the phone - and you can win us over one phone call at a time? Or are you just lonely? Maybe you need a hug? Maybe your "clients" have stopped texting and calling? Maybe they have moved on to the next "agent" because I know its mostly a verbal agreement and not a written contract. Whatever it is, go start your own message board and you can do whatever you want. You really do not belong here. This hobby is hard enough without "agents" like you - And please let me know if you make house calls during the season to visit your players - in the Mid-Atlantic region (be it an Atlantic League game, the swing shift at Mickey D's...whatever). I would love to meet you.

Look, agents will do what they do and us collectors will do what we do. We are all guilty of being selfish. Honestly, who needs 50 of the same card signed, even if you are trading?

That said, I have always been a believer that an agent can't make the player. You are either inherently nice or not, an agent isn't going to change that. I held this belief while I graphed strictly professional players. I mean, A-Rod and Manny aren't going to give a rat's a@# what Boras says to them about signing autographs. However, I just started to autograph minor league players and have seen first hand how impressionable these 18-20 year old kids are. I don't have a problem with somebody not wanting to sign 50 cards, I really don't, but I am discouraged that agents are slowly weening their players into not signing at all. It's definitely a disturbing trend.

I have defended Josh in the past. He's only giving us his point of view, but I will also admit that he has become more and more adversarial and condescending where there really isn't a need. There are a lot of us here on this board who are well educated professionals who happen to have this sickness called autographing. There isn't a need to come on this board to rub our faces in our inability get players like Michael Brantley to sign a specific card. And it certainly doesn't help that people on this board chase players around in low a promising money for autographs....

Sorry, my 2 cents....If Josh annoys some of you so much..just ignore him. I know he "ruins" some players, but if it wasn't Josh, trust me, it'd be somebody else doing the same thing.

You're still my hero. God thank your your continued efforts in writing about me. You say these things like they're going to bother me. Keep writing anonymous poster on the internet.
