Hey,

Yes I am really happy that Cuba has managed to destroy Team USA today. Before you say it was only scrubs playing well it was you America who decided not send to MLB players. I mean you even blocked some countries from sending minor league guys.

Congrats to my friends on the Cuban baseball team and I look forward to the game on Sunday.

BASEBALL IS A WORLDWIDE GAME.

America you have the World Series.

I am sure the US players would rather take a loss then have to go back to the pathetic island and live a life of poverty because of the poor decisions of a mad man.

There is a very real reason why the really good Cuban players tend to defect to the USA at the Olympics.

These players do not live in poverty. An Olympic medal drives these players and perhaps Team USA are driven by wealth?

Yes, we would like to see the big guns playing for the US in the Olympics but MLB will NEVER EVER shut the season down to allow that to happen.

Hey Brit Kid, we're not crying because we lost. Teams lose. Heck, we're not the only team that lost in the Olympics. Why aren't you celebrating China's losses? Netherlands?

I've traveled outside the US and have seen how Cuba is portrayed in other countries. Still no change. A tyrant ran that country into poverty and alienated most of the free world from doing business with them. That has nothing to do with the USA.

As for the team Cuba members who Gold - thats what they are supposed to do. Anything less and their parents or children are harmed. Maybe the US should throw out common decency among human beings and right before the games kidnap a players wife, kids or parents and say, "if you win, they will be returned safely. if you lose, they are lost". I bet we would medal everytime too. LOL!
