When he does start playing, he'll be in Altoona at best, maybe Lynchburg. He had a terrible year that was cut short by injury, at his age there's absolutely no need to rush him through the minors. If it were me, I'd send him to A-ball to regain his confidence!

Done for the year? WTF do you get your information Nick? I spoke with him earlier tonight after reading he was in the trade talks. He just passed the MLB physical earlier today when Pittsburgh was in talks for him.

If he goes to Lynchburg to get back on track, that would be cool too. He just wants to play and get back to playing ball without every single thing, good, bad or indifferent being under a microscope.

I think BA needs to be the one put under the microscope, putting him at the Yanks #1 prospect only for him to bat .248 with an OPS of .630. Bet they wish they could have that one back haha.

Tabata wasn't the Yanks #1 prospect. I think that AJ is ahead of him..

He started in Jan08 as their #3 prospect behind Joba and Austin Jackson. Not that I pay attention to that stuff. LOL!

Oops my bad. Overlooked Joba since he finished the season in the bigs and nobody really expected him to start off in the minors, and I looked at the top 100 list where Tabata is higher than Jackson...I guess different people make the 2 lists?

wouldn't it be a little hard to make a trade for a guy if he was OUT FOR THE YEAR?

Yeah, someone was talking out of their ass. He is in Tampa now waiting for the call as to where to fly to. I'm sure he goes to Altoona.

Sounds like your sipping some bitter beer. j/k.

Seriously though, what's the deal with the guys "makeup problem"?

Jose was probably one of the best, if not the best teenager I have ever seen play baseball in my entire life. The only thing that will stop him from reaching his potential is himself. I obviously cant post that kind of stuff here, but if he can just figure it out he'll be fine. (I dont get bitter over guys hitting 240 in AA, I am much more bitter about sean gallagher )
