I agree, the yankees reason for trading him in my estimation is that they probably didnt believe he'd turn it around. Hitting 270 for a couple of months is grasping at straws... come on alan :P

Ruben Rivera never had the batting average that Tabata has had.

As for his average after the incident, it it what it is, his BA after the incident.

actually he hit .281 with 33 hrs and 101 rbi on yr at gbo and tpa.

I cringed when I read those....plus don't forget Bobby Hill for Aramis Ramirez

Who knows...maybe the Pirates will get lucky and this will be like the Brian Giles for Bay and Oliver Perez (we did get 1 good year out of him at least)
