Use Transform tool Cmd+T (Ctrl+T for PC) and use it to resize your image. Hold down the Shift key as you drag the image into the proper size and it will retain the correct ratio to avoid skewing your image like on the Ryan Berry above.

Had templates of the old A&G so i decided to try to make the new one

I think i did pretty good

You may want to try making the border 2 layers so the player is behind the bottom half. That way you can completely see the logo and it also gives a better area for the players name.

Yeah i tride that and made a few like that, so far i seem to like it this way i know you don't always see the logo but i think it looks pretty cool

I like seeing the whole logo, so I definitely am liking DGautographs version a little better, but your design is good too! I wish I had photoshop so that I could make customs

Try a freeware program called GIMP 2. It's a basic version that is like photoshop minus a lot of features, but it still gets the job done.
