Though its a week ago I finally got moved and got my stuff set-up at home. So thanks to the NBA head of security coming out for the Magic a couple weeks ago he said he was unhappy with the setup at the main NBA hotel for graphers. Needless to say we dont have the same access we had before and now if its raining you can guarantee we wont get people now. So for Charlottle it rained. Not one player signed from the first bus. Knowing the security guys we begged to move closer and there was only 5 of us he moved us closer for the second bus that was late and the 5 guys came out at once. Luckily 3 stopped and were at least some of the better players.

Larry Brown: 2/2
Lasalle Thompson: 2/2
Phil Ford: 2/2
Stephen Jackson: 1/1
Boris Diaw: 2/2
Gerald Wallace: 1/1

great days with the Spurs

So my favorite team, the San Antonio Spurs, came to town the other day and things couldn't have gone better. They notoriously aren't good signers at the hotel on gameday but sign a lot at the arena and elsewhere. Here are my results over 3 times of the trip.

Inside Arena:
Antonio McDyess: 1/1
Richard Jefferson: 1/1
Roger Mason: 1/1
Keith Bogans: 1/1
Tim Duncan: 1/1 SI
Manu Ginobili: 1/1 SI
Tony Parker: 1/1 SI

Post game:
George Hill: 1/1
Matt Bonner: 1/1
DeJuan Blair: 1/1 picutre of he and I last trip
Jerryd Bayless: 1/1
Martell Webster: 1/1
Patty Mills: 1/1
Rudy Fernandez: 1/1
Nicolas Batum: 2/2
Brandon Roy: 1/1

Departure from Hotel:
Michael Finley: 1/1 finally because he won't sign on gameday superstition.
Richard Jefferson: 1/1
Manu Ginobili: 1/2
Sean Elliott: 2/2
Tony Parker: 1/1 NBA Live 09

Also got picture taken with: Gregg Poppovich, Roger Mason, Manu Ginobili, Matt Bonner, Keith Bogans, Sean Elliott, Antonio McDyess, Ian Mahinmi, Theo Ratliff, and george Hill.

LOL thats exactly what I was telling my friend after I got them. I said if I didn't know better this looks more like a kid got ahold of it rather than 3 NBA star players. Unfortunately though, the players in the NBA are more for tagging items with sloppy flair than an actual, legible, autograph.

I must say Keith Bogans autograph is a joke lol. That's cool you got some big names on the Spurs and solid getting the 2 big guys on Charlotte.

Did the Thunder last night as they had they had got in to Portland during the Super Bowl and didn't want to try for them Sunday. So on their day of for a couple hours work here is what I got done, as it was very productive.

Scott Brooks: 2/2
Maurice Cheeks: 2/2
Ron Adams: 2/2
Grant Long: 3/3
Thabo Sefolosha: 1/3, 1/1, 1/1
BJ Mullens: 2/2
James Harden: 1/2
Kevin Ollie: 2/2
DJ White: 1/1
Jeff Green: 2/2

and Kevin Durant: 1/1, 1/1 got my first ever jersey signed in person. Sonics authentic throwback , as well as his Texas SI.

So I didn't want to do any NBA graphing on my B-day so I decided to do the Clippers on arrival for the 2 guys I still needed for my set. It definitely worked out for me. I was down there for 20 minutes and knocked out the main guys I went for and an All-Star.

Steve Novak: 2/2
Chris Kaman: 1/1
Baron Davis: 1/1

Then tonight I went to work and got a few of my co-workers. I know most people aren't into ex-minor leaguers but they are my good friends now. So I went out and found the cards of guys I work with.

Chris Pine: 1/1
Travis vetters: 1/1
Mark Hills: 4/4
