I went to the Rays evet tonight as media so I was limited. One of the Nasty Boyz was there and got him on an IC. Got Delmon on an ice cream helmet...

Also, the dealers crushed Costner and we not do any movie stuff. I went in the lobby as I am walking in he walked by and was talking with his people as he was leaving out a side entrance. I stopped him real quick for the station then he went back to the front desk. I went out the side door and he cmae out a minute later in a rush... I asked him to sign and he nailed my Field of Dreams 2-disc anniversary edition insert. A crappy sig but that movie is my personal #1 of all-time and he shook my hand and said thanks. I was pretty stoked! I didn;t try for anyone else backstage but I was talking with BJ, Delmon, CC, McGriff, and Boggs. I couldn't ask for anything back there but I didn't mind. The catering was sick...

Giambi - no I did not go over there. he was in and out all day and I work so I couldn't sit around and wait.

Today, I met clake13 for the Rays event.

Kazmir - 1/1 card inscribed 07 AL Strikeout King!
Upton - 1/3 signed his 04 (or 03) Heritage card as his topps contract name... "Melvin E. Upton" truly now one of my favorite pieces.
Sonnastine - 1/1
Edwin Jackson - 1/1
Joe Maddon - 1/1
James Shields - 2/2

I was not very prepared but i will see these guys too many times. Thanks for the help, Colin!

he actually wrote it almost right over the Topps sig. I will get a scan later tonight.

Jyd - thanks I think they all look pretty cool! Sorry, but that Kaz is definitely in the PC. I will see him plenty more so I will get another done that way and I will then have it up for trade...

Steve - why is it weird? I ay not have relayed it in the post but I asked him to sign that way and I think he signed right over it to make sure that it fit in a good spot. He even leaned forward and took his time. I kind of know BJ as we have a mutual friend and he did it without a problem. And, yes, I did ask Kaz for the inscription... I actually asked for "K King" and he signed it his way which I like better

Very nice!! Costner has always had a weird sig like that. Never seen BJ sign his given name before. I was happy just to get him to sign period for me this year LOL. That Kazmir looks sick CONGRATS!!!
