I was able to head out to the Wuerfel again the past 2 out of 3 days to graph the Beach Bums and the Southern Illinois Miners. I ended up going 2 days for this series given the fact that the trading card day was on the first day of this series, and the final game of this series had the last Traverse City Beach Bums post game autograph Sunday session for 2008. Since I did these 2 teams over the course of this series, I decided to combine the results of what I was able to get for the 2 days I went out there. Here are the results:

Tim Dorn 1 SS OLB3 Baseball (Normally I don't get FL players on SS OLB Baseballs but after seeing this guy hit in the FL All Star Game last month and batting practice he took on the first day of this series, I really think he has a chance to make it big in baseball. If you get the chance to see him this year, I would recommend going. He has 22 HR's on the year already.)

That is all I got from Traverse City this series. This is the latest in the season I think they ever took to get the trading cards out. At least it was in time for the final team post game autograph session for 2008.

On a sidenote: To anyone that sent me 50/50s for any of the teams I have seen (River City, Southern Illinois), no worries I got all of your stuff. 50/50s will be mailed back starting Wednesday at the earliest since I will be trying to get to my last Beach Bums game which I expect will be this Tuesday; so I can get the Florence Freedom 50/50s done and so that I can get all 50/50s of these 3 teams I saw recently out in the mail at the same time.

Another sidenote: In the 2008 Traverse City Beach Bums trading card set that I got, I ended up only having 4 players I was unable to get. 2 of them I see could be gotten, but I need help. If anyone can help me with Mike Goetz, Bryan Rembisz please LMK and send me a pm to work it out.

I got the majority of the Miners on a baseball and I don't recall seeing anyone put a smiley face after their sig. I did check the baseball again and I couldn't find it anywhere lol.

Alex, I was unable to do the Miners post game last night since that the entire Beach Bums team was doing its final post game autograph session for 2008 and I was focused on knocking out the majority of my trading card set in which I was able to do. I only have 4 players left in it to get now...
