Rangers hotel this morning
Michael Young 1/7, 1/1, 1/5, 1/1, 1/3
Ian Kinsler 1/5 cards, 1/1 8x10, 0/4 waiting for Jamey Wright to get in the cab 1 on 1
Hank Blalock 1/6, 0/1, 1/5 story below
David Murphy 1/2, 1/1 very nice guy, made sure everyone left with an auto

Salty didnt sign, Padilla didnt sign, never saw Milton, Hamilton sign 1 as far as I saw, he/his cab got swarmed. Young and Kinsler were a soft 1 per, didnt seem to mind double dipping. Blalock on the other hand was a strict 1 per, but did sign for everyone, he refused to sign the card I pointed to (07 Bowman Chrome) and would not sign another guys card of him fielding with his eyes closed. David Murphy was with his wife and kid but signed everything. Max Ramirez signed 1 before getting in his cab.

TOTAL: 17 not a bad day at all

Man Hamilton is probably getting hounded everywhere he goes.

Hamilton will be impossible by the end of the year. I dont see it getting any better as the season goes on unless he hits a monster slump or big injury, which would be terrible to see. His stuff is just too hot, eveyone wants it right now. It was worse today than I have ever seen it for anybody besides the Yankees. The Rangers are quickly becoming the new Yankees.

Funny you mention Murphy and his wife, we saw him pull up in Portland 2 years ago and let's just say they were showing their love to eachother for the next 20 minutes, I must have gotten the whole team by the time he got out of the car.

Kinsler signed 2 bats for a dealer and left. Young said he couldnt sign, not a big deal he has signed everything this week. Hamilton didnt sign, didnt even look at us. Chris Davis, CJ Wilson, Jamey Wright, Eddie G, Matt Harrison, and a couple others I didnt recognize signed. Only person I went for besides Hamilton, David Murphy, I did not see. Needed him on an 8x10 with Michael Young. Kind of pissed I heard all these great things about Hamilton and then today with less than 10 people he didnt sign, guess I cant blame him, I wouldnt sign either if the first person to come up to me shoved 2 bats in my face.

Missed Gonzo going for Helms, missed Volstad, Nolasco wouldnt sign, Hermida got out with Uggla so didnt go for him, Paul Hoover signed and I had nothing. Hanley seemed like a really nice guy, didnt sign or say a single word.

Bad day in Milwaukee, was late to the game, missed almost all of BP. Went over to the cubs side because the pitchers were still trowing. Go where I thought was going to be a good spot. Marmol left and started signing by the dugout. I went over and it was about 5 rows deep so I didnt even bother. Samardzija came over but he was only signing a couple ever 20 feet or so. I will get him at Wrigley. Outside was pretty bad too. Cubs were coming out the Brewers side and I was completely unprepared. Only had my Brewers stuff. DeRosa signed and I think that was it. Got Suppan by the fence, Jason Kendall and Yost signed but had nothing for them. So total,

Also, it was a travel day.
