Everyone but Curry and Rose signed after th first practice. A couple of exchanges between me and Rose and Pax.

D Rose 1 outside hotel 1 on 1 kind of (first one there)
Me: "Derrick can you sign?"
DROSE: "Nah, I cant...."
Me: "Are you sure?"
DROSE: "Ya, I cant"
Other grapher: "Why not?"
DROSE: "Because I cant"

Pax
Pax: "So you guys have nothing better to do on a Sat. than come see me?"
Me: "Well, we are trying to get Rose... can you do anything about that?"
Pax: "I cant make him sign... maybe he has a contract or something"
Me: "Well, you are the GM, cant you talk to him?"
Pax *signs card and leaves*

DROSE 2 before 2nd practice, just me and duhon
Me: "Derrick, you got a minute?"
DROSE: "Nah man, I'll catch you after practice."
Me: "Well we were heading out, can you sign a couple?"
DROSE: "Nah man, I'll get ya after practice."

DROSE I got on an 8x10 and ESPN mag, everyone else on cards.

Worst Day in graphing history. Total of 1 autograph and 2 ruined photos. Cubs lost to the Reds (Even though Fontenot had a beast day), then outside the skies opened up. It poured almost the whole time I was out there. Only Theriot, DeRosa, and Ted Lilly (with DeRosa) signed. I dropped a Henry Blanco photofile in a puddle when I was putting my binder in my other hand and my Harden headshot has some discoloring from the rain. Both are in a garbage on waveland. So my "success" from today,
Mark DeRosa 1/8 talked to him for a little while, one of the friendlier guys on the team.

Ken Griffey Jr. also signed 1 auto postgame out on Waveland.

No, but I tracked down the guy that caught Fontenot's and offered him $100 cash for it. He turned it down.

Good day at Wrigley today, not necassarily a great hual for the day though. Only got 1 player,
Lincecum 4/8 cards
He wasnt signing balls, said something like "paper only" so I handed him a page. It was a madhouse, easily 50+ people.
Went over to the Cubs side after, Theriot was the last one there, only one to sign and picked up a black sharpie and took off, I didnt really go for him.

But my gem of the day game pregame. I caught a ball out on Waveland during BP. It was a Shea Stadium ball so apparently the Giants stole a bunch of them in NY earlier this week. Someone else got a Shea ball in the bleachers. So my total in the 4 days I went, 78 so not too bad.
