This is probably why Parker was upset about signing in Beloit:

JARROD PARKER AUTO AUTOGRAPH AUTOGRAFFIX - eBay (item 290227005022 end time May-07-08 13:14:34 PDT)

And I saw more discussion about Ben Revere:
BEN REVERE AUTO AUTOGRAPH AUTOGRAFFIX - eBay (item 290227009332 end time May-07-08 13:31:36 PDT)

I don't know who gets these signed but its not too hard for a player to go on ebay and find this sticker after he signs it, its not like everyone and their brother gets these signed out of the 7 people who actually graph at Beloit.

i also saw that. not every day you can buy autographs and satin panties with combined shipping rates. not sure why he would want to get stickers signed... parker has several different cards out their.

He's far FAR from a HOS nominee. The Beloit graphers who insisted on mobbing him for autographs during the game while he charted, and those that flipped pages on him deserve to be nominated.

To defend Jarrod, I did have a chance to meet him while he played against Peoria, he was very quiet, but he did sign. Had absolutely no problem at all with him.

So it leads me back to thinking as originally a few months ago, someone or a group of people in Beloit must have really POed him.......

I have been going to Beloit for I would say close to 8 years now, I only go to about 3 games a year, only 1 this year because I caught up with the Snappers on the road instead. I have seen many people really take advantage of the situation..... I remember seeing a couple years ago when Jay Bruce was with Dayton, someone pulling out a 50 spot on him all of the same card.

There used to be like 2-3 guys graphing there on a given day, now I see the upwards of 10-15 every time I go.

I also recall Sean Gallagher visiting Beloit when he was in MWL, and he openly told me that he was POed at some kid who turned around and sold a baseball he signed the night before on ebay. But the thing that bothered him more was the picture taker, and I don't know if your a member here or not, but the person who takes pictures (proving the athlete signed) was what bothered him.

And now from what I hear he is down to 1 per if your lucky.

I think someone or a group of people really POed Gary Lucas as well, because previous years he used to be gravy, now he barely signs.

Just my two cents, peace

I guess I will chime in on this. Normally I don't but an experience I had in West Michigan last year with Ray Burris seems to tie in with what seems to be going on out there. I PERSONALLY HAVE NOT graphed Beloit but when I finally got Ray Burris to sign a card for me, here is what he mentioned about Beloit:

Ray Burris 1 card ("The other incident I had was over in Beloit where a guy had pages of cards for me to sign. After when I told him that I was only signing one, I found out that he was using a bunch of little kids and kept handing his cards out to the little kids around him and then they called me over and I found out. Me: "So how many did you end up signing for him?" Ray: "I only signed one card for him." "If you want to get autographs, please don't use little kids to get autographs for you." "I am not mad at any of you or accusing any of you of using little kids, but its wrong.")

I wonder if that same guy is there and if he is doing that to the other players/coaches to get all of his cards signed.

I just thought I would chime in on this even though I have never been to Beloit personally but I almost did not get a coach who is known to not be an easy sig to get and he mentioned that place as one of his reasons for almost not signing for us.

Beloit does have huge numbers graphing there. Beloit sits perfectly in between Milwaukee and Chicago so it draws from a huge number of collectors and of course dealers. Most of the chasers in Beloit are good dudes like mwlautographs, Jeff3880wi, and brewcrew88, but there is one guy "Big Bill" who always pushes players to their limit. He also uses his little daughter to hit players with pages of nine. Players see this and are totally turned off. A few weeks ago Andy Lambo gave Big Bill some guff for sending his little daughter after him. Lambo sarcastically remarked, "Ooohhh! She collects cards too! Big Bill just said, "Yup". Lambo justed laughed and looked at another player in disbelief. Between Big Bill and the high amount of graphers some players are turned off. Keep in mind that the easy access to players also causes some players a little more discomfort.
I saw Parker later in the year and he was much better. He clearly was just mad that series in Beloit.

Hate to say it but he used that same lie in Dayton last year. He accused someone who had one card of him of using little kids to get autos. Claimed "he saw him." He didn't. He feels everyone is making megabucks on his sig on Ebay.

Because as he told me, "they f'n mobbed me while I was charting." Why is it ok to go down in the middle of the game while he is at work and bother him. How many people here would lose their jobs if they had people come to their work and bother them?

What is the difference in having "pages of nine" or sending someone 400 cards of 5 players?

I'm not sure what your saying about getting players to sign quantities of cards. If you don't like getting quantities on guys fine, but what are you trying to say about people who do? None of us mobbed Jarrod in the stands. He was in the dugout for every game I attended. You keep making this statement but the evidence does not back up your claim. Jarrod has obviously embellished his "horror story" from Beloit. Nobody, other then Big Bill, hit Jarrod harder than any other player that has gone through Beloit.
