Billings @ Helena

Tom Browning 27/55 nice guy, but I'm never handing anyone that many cards again. That will be my first and last time giving someone over 16. It made me feel like I was taking advantage of him...

I also got a ton of players on both teams on Steve's and Brace's customs.

A few sidenotes:

The Tyler Stovall on Billings is not the one in the USA set. He told me that wasn't him and he said he had gotten a bunch of those TTM.

Steve, your picture for Bucholz wasn't him, but he still signed the customs.

Brace, 2 guys you sent are no longer with the team.

On Sunday, our car broke down on the way to Missoula. I probably will not go there now so I'm sorry to everyone that sent stuff for Great Falls and Missoula.

Sounds like you had a rough trip out there in Montana Colin. Sorry to hear about the car. So how many graphers were at the park out west there???

Cool stuff! I was out in Montana for practically the first half of July, and hit up games in Helena and Billings. I found Helena to be a very awkward run-down stadium to graph in (seems like a common theme in the Pioneer League). Billings' park is brand new, but is probably the easiest place I've ever graphed! I was the only collector in both parks - I don't think people really hound there.

What brought you out to Montana?

I feel the same way whenever i try to get a bunch of cards signed. For that reason i have never gotten more then 8 of one player at a time

To answer all questions...

Sigman: I'm the only grapher here. Amazingly, there aren't even kids with sharpies and baseballs!

Spokanehound: Relatives live here, you're right about Helena. I have gone in an hour and a half before the gates opened every day through the main gate! They just leave it wide open!

BoSoxFan: Yeah, if it fits on a page, I'll do it, otherwise no. I'd feel much more comfortable with 8 than 16, so I will stick to 8 under normal circumstances.

Billings @ Helena:
Brandon Rice 2/2 apologized for not signing for me yesterday
Rene Gonzales 0/16 I didn't get him this trip. He literally left the clubhouse 30 seconds before the game started...
Corey Kemp 0/4, we can't do it right now...1/4 customs I'm guessing he missed the others....

Also, pretty much finished up the customs for Brace and Steve.

Oh wow, so I guess that 1st base side picnic area in Helena is accessible to everyone... so you could stand right by the clubhouse door and get guys walking out to the field? For some reason I assumed that area was off limits
