It wasn't run very well, as I was accused of getting an autograph, and was asked to leave the area, even though I didn't. Other kids got several autographs and weren't asked to leave the area. I just missed Nomar Garciaparra, who appeared only to sign for kids. I saw Kuroda, Kemp, Loney sign a few autographs, but I was waiting to get Manny, Torre, or Mattingly. Everyone I was trying to get went into the clubhouse after BP without signing. Was shut out here.

This sounds rediculous. im glad i don't have to deal with anything like this around here.

Went to a Sports Chalet grand opening in La Canada, CA.

Former Laker AC Green was signing for free. He was supposed to sign from 2 to 3PM. Got there around 2:35PM. He was really friendly, making small take and taking photos with everyone. The line moved slowly because of this, but he stayed late to sign for everyone.

He was two autographs per person. They gave out 8x10 photos and small NBA towels for free. I went with my wife. We got 2 cards, one photo, and one NBA towel signed. He personalized everything and signed everything in black sharpie. Overall a decent experience for a free in-store signing.

I had no idea you were in L.A. I have learned more reading your posts, than living in L.A. What is the Dodger's visiting hotel? And how did you get Dodger autographs without a field ticket?

You can get to that small autograph area by the dugout I described on a previous post without a field ticket. I think they kick you out when BP ends, which is about 30min before the game starts.

Drove to San Bernardino to attend the Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous. It is a auto show. Jerry Rice was signing from 10am to 12pm. Got there a little late at around 9:30am, and there were at least 500+ people in a line that stretched around the block. The line didn't move very fast, as Jerry was signing multiples. Rumor has it that he was signing everything placed in front of him, and eventually the organizers started to limit the items to 2 per person. They shut the line off before I could even get close to Jerry so people next to me started paying money to people in front of the line to get their stuff signed. I paid $20 to some guy in front of the line and he got my football signed. Money well spent if you ask me.

Mark Seay of the Chargers was signing as well. Didn't get him though.

I tried to upload the picture below.

Texas Rangers at Angels
This was my first time graphing this stadium.
Howie Kendrick was signing in the team store, but you had to buy a pair of Oakley sunglasses. Needless to say I did not buy a pair.
Access is pretty limited on the inside. If you have the more expensive tickets, you can go up to the dugout area. But for the rest of us, we had to wait by the foul poles, which means you can pretty much only get pitchers. Hardly anybody signed, though.

Pregame outside stadium.
Brandon McCarthy 1/1
Kevin Millwood 2/2
Vicente Padilla 2/2
Gerald Laird 1/1
Frank Catalanotto 2/2
Ramon Vazquez 2/2
Gary Pettis 1/1
There were at least 10 players who passed through, but I either didn't have cards or didn't recognize them. Didn't see the big name players come through.

Pregame 3rd base foul pole
Justin Speier 1/1

Pregame 1st base foul pole
Jamey Wright 2/2

Arizona last Saturday, 10/11.

Went to Kansas City instructs in Surprise, AZ around 10:30 AM. Mike Moustakas was practicing. Afterward, he signed for about 12-15 people. He was really nice and talkative. He said that was his last day in Surprise, and that he was heading to the Domincan Republic. Signed one SSOMLB for me.

Mesa Solar Sox at Surprise Rafters (pregame)

Zach Simons 1/1
Matt Wieters 1/1 SSOMLB. Signed one for everyone along the wall.
Andrew Lambo 3/3
Jamie Hoffman 2/2
Brandon Snyder 1/1
Chad Tracy 1/1
Justin Smoak 1/1 SSOMLB
Nolan Reimold 1/1 AFL program
Stephen Head 1/1 AFL program
Brian McFall 1/1 AFL program
Gary Allenson 1/1 AFL program

I was on the other side of the stadium when Ryne Sandberg started signing. I ran over but he stopped signing right when I got there. I tried to get him postgame, but he only signed 1 autograph for the guy next to me. I then tried to wait by the bus for the visiting team outside the stadium, but was kicked out of the area by security.

Peoria Saguaros at Peoria Javelinas
(Pregame)
Kevin Whelan 1/1
Juan Miranda 1/1
Carlos Triunfel 1/1
Chris Valaika 1/1
Austin Jackson 1/1 SSOMLB
Wade Townsend 1/1
Ross Detwiler 5/5
Chad Huffman 1/1
Brett Wallace 1/1 personalized
Bobby Parnell 1/1
Adam Ottavino 1/1
Daniel Murphy 1/1 personalized
Eddie Kunz 1/1
Shawn Bowman 1/1
Sean Henry 1/1
Sean Watson 1/1
Gordon Beckham 1/1

Phil Hughes 4/4. Was sitting in the stands charting pitches. People kept going up to him throughout the game and he signed multiples for a lot of people
Ivan De Jesus 1/1. He was in the stands watching the game. Got him as he left.
Michael Garciaparra was in the stands as well. Wasn't sure why he was there. I only had a blank 3x5, which he said he wouldn't sign. He was really cool otherwise and shook my hand.

Didn't see Drew Stubbs at all.

I got Wallace several times in the AFL (see my AFL post coming this later this week) and he did NOT personalize anything for me all week. Those who did personalize:

Wes Hodges
Dan Murphy
