Just moving this up to the top. Plan on hitting up the Barnstormers Fan Fest tomorrow...Von Hayes is my number one priority! Acouple players will be there as well making an appearance..Zack Parker, Eric Ackerman (Zack and Ack) and 2006 playoff hero Denny Harriger. Have a complete run of Von Hayes cards in addition to 3 phillies prgrams and one calander..and this isnt even all the stuff I have to get done...its only about 1/3 of it.

Barnstormers Fan Fest

Von Hayes 4/4 (3 programs and 1 phillies calender) then went thru the line again 3/8 (asked me to pick three...he wanted to move the line out as he was there almost 2 hours)
Denny Harriger 2/2 ( on hemi's sweet spot cards)
Zack Parker 2/2 (onhemi's sweet spot cards)
Eric Ackerman 2/2 (on hemi's sweet spot cards) Asked him to sign in blue instead of black..he said "anything for you Amy") Nice guy as always.

Barnstormers Media Day/Open Practice 4/24/08

Parking lot after... two friends and I graphing

Von Hayes 3/5 (3 seems to be his limit)
Boots Day 3/3
Matt LeCroy 5/5 (very cool)
Manny Mejia 2/2
Brian Stavisky 7/7 (very cool)
Ian Bladergroen 6/6 (very cool) one for diamondboy and one for woods1999
Vasili Spanos 6/6 (2 for ringer)
Tim Mc Claskey 4/4 (one for ringer)

Missed some guys because we couldn't identify them but hey..its a great start. My main goals were Stavisky and Le Croy and Bladergroen. All three were really chatty. Note on LeCroy...we didnt recognize him...boy he has more grey hair than my hubby! We were surprised.
Missed some other guys...but we knew them from last year.

All the guys were really cool and talkative . We were talking to Von Hayes about releasing Dominick Ambrosini...( I mean this was our team mvp last year)..he said..."its about making our team better. Defensively he wasn't doing it". I thought that was a very telling sign of his managing style...and something that has been lacking in our teams. He's not going to put up with the lack of effort in some of these guys. It was pretty neat to talk to him...he's a good guy to talk to. He started to sign for my friend and got a phone call...sat in his car talking to Jose Cabrera on the phone but when he got off the phone he signed for us.

Nice job Amy!

I also couldn't believe how much grey hair Matt LeCroy had this Spring! I had a hard time recognizing him too, lol!

Bridgeport at Lancaster 4/26/08

Bridgeport pre game:

TJ Tucker 6/6 (ringer)
Glenn Murray 3/3 (one for astrofan)
Jesse Hoorelbeke 2/2
Tim Drew was starting so we didn't ask him.
Rain comes in the 6th and washes away the rest of the game. Stormers win their second 7-4. Another come from behind. Rain made for no post game graphs.

Bridgeport @ Lancaster 4/27/08

Lancaster pregame on field autograph session:

team sheet...all current players and coaches and 2 trainers except Eric Ackerman who was starting total 28 (had help with this)

Von Hayes 3/3 and 4/4
Jarred Ball 2/2
Ian Bladergroen 2/2 (ringer)
Lance Burkhart 2/2
Danny Gonzalez 3/3
Jutt Hileman 2/2
Matt LeCroy 7/7 and 7/7 (one for baadn10tionzz,
John Nelson 4/4 (one for jbsouth)
Lloyd Turner 2/2
Michael Woods 5/5
Patrick Cassa 2/2
Ryan Cullen 2/2
Franklin Mendible 2/2
Nate Hoelscher 2/2
Ricardo Gomez 2/2
Mike Nannini 1/3 (wouldn't sign hemis sweet spot ..not sure if hewont or if he didnt know.)
Judd Songster 4/4 (one for ringer)
Ross Peeples 5/5 (2 for ringer)
Brian Stavisky 2/2
game used batting gloves that I assumed were from Lance Burkhart from last year..he said he didn't "do that to my batting gloves" (they were ripped on one across the palm and the other across the back..figured Lance was intense enough to do that! haha) He even tried them on and they didnt fit...he said they might be Jutt Hilemans....Jutt wasn't sure but they did fit him and he did use Akacema stuff...so I had them each sign one...kinda funny exchange with the 2 of them..first time I have seen Lance where he was actually not intense and focused. I kinda thought Lance was just being funny saying they werent his...In the four years Lance has been here this was the first time he talked to me ...and was really pretty cool!

Pretty much out of stuff for Lancaster except for Hayes and Wise.

Bridgeport pregame: (Main goal was Tim Drew but he came out too late)

Bobby Darula 2/2
Calvin Pickering 5/5

Long Island @ York 5/4/08

Well i got tired of waiting around for another Lancaster homestand to start (tomorrow) so we took the 20 minute drive to York for their Autograph Sunday. 20 players were on the field..minus a couple starting pitchers, the coaches and starting catcher. I had some help with these.

York:

on program:
Aaron Myette, Jason Olson (morphs fav non Patriot!), Travis Phelps, Reid Price, Aaron Rakers, Corey Thurman (Chad's fav York Rev player) , Matt Trent, Dave Veres, Kevin Kotch, Luis Taveras (brother of Willy), Enrique Cruz, Keoni DeRenne, Matt Dryer (my fav Rev) Matt Padgett, Kenny Perez, Tyler VonSchell, Jason Aspito, Travis Ezi and Kaz Tanaka (Japan's fav Rev)

cards:

Keoni De Renne 1/1
Matt Dryer 1/1 (wiseandeck)
Dave Gassner 1/1 8x10 ("good looking guy I am"..he was super cool! Told me to enjoy the game...laughed when I said I would!
Aaron Myette 5/5 5/5 (2 KJ, 3 ringer)
Kenny Perez 3/3 (2 ringer) I was paging thru the book and he says.."there I am..nice looking guy"
Travis Phelps 4/4 3/3 (3 for KJ...one wasn't prepped too well..I"ll redo it!)
Aaron Rakers 3/3 4/4 (3 for gophillies23)
Corey Thurman 1/1 another great guy..was talking to everyone and high fiving the kids....
Matt Trent 1/1 (ringer)
Dave Veres 4/4
Tyler Von Schell 2/2 (ringer)

These guys weren't out for the session:Wayne Franklin, Landon Jacobsen, Pete Munro, Nick McCurdy, Sandy Aracena and I think I missed Matt Esquivel due to a number change. I also would have had gotten more on Dave Veres but my "help" didn't know he had cards in the book for him. I had better start paying him better..haha.

Kj.. it was one of the Indy team set cards...my "help" mentioned that "one of them didn't come out very good"...but it was too late to go and get it redone. Its no problem though..I'll see them again and make sure its done!
