What's the deal with Jose Cabrera? Is he still having visa problems?

Yep...his hearing was scheduled for yesterday so he should be coming tonight or tomorrow. According to someone who does their travel stuff....these guys often live pretty far from the "offices where they give out the visas" and sometimes the problem is getting the guy to the office for their scheduled hearings. And sometimes they get there and end up standing in line even though they do have an appointment. You could stand there all day and wait....then they close and say come back tomorrow. This could happen day after day.

When Cabrera arrives I will get the card done..sorry its not as easy as it should be. Belive me I am frustrated as well about it...we need him desparately!

Vito Chiaravolloti 5/5 (ringer, kj2, d6 one)
Brian Adams 5/5 (ringer, kj2, d6 one)
Jeff Duncan 6/6 (help) and 6/6 ( ringer ..I finished that trio card) (ringer 3)

Thank god you guys weren't home alone together - you might have had to have a conversation or something.

Very true. Hmm what is conversation after 27 years of marriage? Is there some sort of law that we must periodically talk to one another?

The return of Eric Crozier and Derrick DePriest and Andy Zwirchitz...to the friendly confines of Clipper Magazine Stadium...

Southern Md pregame:

Eric Crozier 2/2 (jjmodesto) Eric burned us tonight ..2 homers and 4 rbi...Cool as always...shook all our hands...

Derrick DePriest 6/6 (ringer 1, kj 2 wiseandeck1, D6 1) Had a nice talk with he and his girlfriend about Lancaster..always a great guy! Said he was glad to see me still graphing!
Adam Johnson 5/5 ( ringer I finished another dual for you) (diamond boy 1, jjmodesto 1...it smudged)
Kyle Nichols 1/1
Andy Zwirchitz 3/3 (elpaso 1) Talked to him for a few minutes..one of the things I got signed was a photo of he and Jeremy Todd and us with Santa hats on which was our 2006 Christmas card..he loved it.

Missed John Halama.. friends and I were walking to the car and he was parked beside us....they got their signed but I really wasnt fast enough...at least I know where he parks now and should be able to get him tomorrow night since he came in right as I pulled in.

Lancaster postgame:

Vasili Spanos 5/5 and 5/5 (wiseandeck 5 and Chad 1)
Eric Ackerman 5/5 (all for wiseandeck)

team sheet..Eric Ackerman and Josh Hall

Also had a nice long talk with Ross Peeples who had scope surgery on his elbow earlier this week and is apparently still with the team. Great guy as always!

If you really want to impress him tell him you know he was the punter on the North Carolina football team. Dude is like 6'6" and was a punter - a pretty good one, too. And I didn't realize I still had a card on him.

Is Jeremy Todd still affiliated with the Barnstormers in any way, such as a coach or special assistant?
