ELSKOTTO's 2008 'Graphin

Went to the D1 Sports Facility in Nashville and got thrown out by RA DICKey. He told us to get out if we didnt attend the clinic or have kids that did. Luckily I talked to Ben Zobrist before trying for Price who was signing a ton of stuff and then stopped to take a picture... and that's when DICKey came after me and the 3 or 4 other guys there trying to get Price. The people at D1 escorted Price out and yelled NO AUTOGRAPHS! What a great experience.....

Ben Zobrist 4/4
David Price 0/7

RA DICKey is a great guy. I wish he'd tell the teams that he plays for not to put him in the team set cause I'm tired of his crap when I ask him to sign. That being said David Price is going to be that way. Funny thing is he's been drafted by the D Rays - chances are he'll be washed up before he ever gets started. Maybe we can all get him when he's 34 and still pitching in Montgomery.

Zobrist is a nice guy - he was great at the TX Lg all star game a few years ago - too bad others can't be the class act he is. I'm sure he really was exhausted after signing 4 cards for you and the other 3 people who were there. David Price might have blown out a shoulder if he had to sign for all those people.

Yeah I was actually going to post this...Elskotto got shafted today, bad...I got Price on 1 card, he did 1/6 and I gave him two cards...so...

David Price 1/6
Ben Zobrist 8/8

Dickey is a piece of work that's for sure...he was probably mad that nobody was asking for HIS autograph (even though he hates signing), and chances are he's such a reject that the Mariners will return him since he's a rule 5er and he'll be back in AAA Nashville, and I won't be buying any more cards of him. What a douche bag, seriously...I'm pretty sure R.A. told Price not to sign and those kids to make sure he didn't touch a pen the rest of the day.

I don't believe it was his choice whatsoever...he had R.A. trying to tell him not to sign and two punk kids that were with him not wanting him to sign. Price signed 5/5 for me in college and a baseball (all at the same time), and signed a few cards for another board member before R.A. decided it was his duty to be the autograph police.

David's a GREAT guy and a really good signer, we just didn't have that great of luck this time b/c of people who like to complicate things...you know how the autograph nazis are

RA DICK ey is the autograph police just like Olden Polynice was known as the autograph cop for the Jazz. I did see Dickey sign in Fenway when he was a Ranger and was actually pretty cool about it

O.k. I thought that Price just signed one and that was before the DICKey experience.

Vanderbeek must not be paying very close attention to his mentor if he was actually signing. Sorry, couldn't resist. And I love the Larry King ball, I'm jealous.

ha if I find them for a dime a piece I will...might as well get them signed if they're that cheap...however I was very disappointed in how Dickey was acting that particular day.
