The first day of Lookouts graphing was a good one. Got everything I had signed other than a few Bosios but he knocked out a page for me(and 16 for another guy) so it's a good sign. Seemed to be in pretty good spirits and commented how much he hates not having facial hair because he feels like it makes him look 12 he said. I got my lookouts stuff, saw a surprise guest, ran home got his cards, got those signed and then left early because I thought I was going to get rained on.

Chris Bosio 8/8
Eric Eymann 1/1
Carlos Fisher 1/1
Mike Griffin 3/3
Chris Kroski 4/4
Daryl Thompson 5/5(thanks to Greg aka bigorange for a couple of these)
BJ Szymanski 5/5 was making fun of his hair on some of the cards
Cody Strait 3/3 got married in September he told us

and....special guest who threw out the first pitch

Corky Miller 4/4

did you do Charleston after the game? Are they still blocking off the area where the visitors bus is like they started to do late last year? Any info on how Betances was acting? Will be seeing them tomorrow.

yes i did charleston after the game. Dellin was really awkward about signing.. there were 5 of us and he said "i can only sign a few" and then he smeared stuff... i dont think it was on purpose though. He gave the impression of not being very intelligent. They do still have the barriers over there but we just walked right past them and the security didnt say anything. the bus driver got off the bus and talked to us and was really friendly so no one minded that we were over there... the barrier was just to keep people from parking there.

Had a weird day because at 2pm I looked at the Huntsville Stars website...and it turns out they had a doubleheader beginning.... at 2 pm...D'oh! so i stirred around for a while and got my dad to ride down with me to Huntsville from Tullahoma(it's about an hour and 10 minutes). Got there at THE perfect time... right in between games and got most of the Braves I wanted because I knew Laporta would not sign anyway before a game. I helped a dad figure out who all had signed his son's ball and it made me feel good to see someone actually recognize and respect my baseball knowledge if that makes any sense. I really enjoyed helping someone that I felt like really appreciated my help.

Mish-uh-ship-i
Jerome Gamble 6/6 told him how much I appreciated him always being a cool guy to the fans and autograph collectors
Jairo Cuevas 7/7 woooo hooo (50/50 for kthud)
Franklin Stubbs 3/3 thats his limit
Diory Hernandez 1/1
Jordan Schafer 3/4, 1/1 SS ball... my dad got the ball for me. he was really nice as opposed to spring training so Preston if you read this you can send me a few of him.
Luis Valdez 3/3
Javier Guzman 1/1
Kala Ka'aihue 3/3 (only 1 for me though, got them for another guy and he gave me 1 for getting them)

Huntz-vull
Michael Brantley 1/2 was decently nice about it but still just one *sigh* Chatted him up about everyone's favorite agent haha
Carlos Corporan 1/1
Alcides Escobar 3/3
Cole Gillespie 1/1
Sandy Guerrero 1/1
Steve Hammond 2/2
Guilder Rodriguez 1/1
Rusty Tucker 3/3 said the soul patch may return this year when I asked him about it haha

41 isn't a bad day in my day

oh and for those of you wondering about Laporta... apparently he came out RIGHT before the auto collectors(Steve the Dentist from Bowling Green, Ray the teacher from Nashville, Chris the army(maybe?) guy from Nashville, Larry the Roman Soldier haha) went to the Huntsville side. A lot of kids asked him apparently and he just walked by them. one girl got him and said he was VERY reluctant to sign so he signed ONE autograph all day... because I know the other guys were there EARLY and asked him and he wouldnt then... *sigh* he actually came back in but went out another door to avoid people. blah. it will be a long year in the SL trying to get him it sounds like.

Nice totals so far! Is Larry the Roman Soldier also referred to as Huntsville Larry? He is an older guy who graphs there. I know him from the AFL and ST, lol.

hahaha oh ok. I thought his choice in foot wear was the reason, but I figured I would ask to make sure.
