Clinton LumberKings @ Beloit Snappers 6/3

It was a very good day. I arrived at the stadium early to get players coming off the bus and stayed till they got back on. It was a long day but well worth it.

Clinton:

Blake Beavan: 16/16 16/16 9/9
Neftali Feliz: 9/9 9/9 9/9 9/9 (with help) This guy is a slow, slow signer but really nice dude. He signs every letter in his name. If you are getting an 8x10 signed of Neftali, I would ask him to sign very large because he signed a few kid's pictures very small.
Engel Beltre: 3/9 6/9 3/9 3/9 9/9 9/9 9/9 (with help) Engel does not like to sign quantity before the game but will sign more after the game. He does sigh loudly if you show him nine This guys signature is ultra quick, as he only gives an "EB."

I also had 4 team sets, which I got everyone except for about 6 players.

Beloit:

Ben Revere: 6/6
Loek Van Mil: 9/9 9/9 9/9 9/9 9/9 (with help) Really cool guy.

Seeing these same two teams again tonight.

Got final players for (4) team sets..

Fort Wayne Wizards @ South Bend SilverHawks 6/5

It was a good day with the exception that Mat Latos and Drew Cumberland were both not traveling with the team due to injuries.

Fort Wayne:

Danny Payne: 9/9 9/18
Felix Carrasco: 4/4
Luis Durango: 9/9 18/18
Aaron Breit: 7/7
Jeremy Hefner: 6/6
Andy Parrino: 4/4
Yefri Carvajol: 1/1
Brad Chalk: 2/2

I also got 9 other players on blank team logo cards.

South Bend:

Jarrod Parker: 3/3 I would have given him more cards to sign but he was surrounded by kids so I passed him three cards over the top. Some soccer mom also called me a "jackass" because she said I was pushing her kids to get autos, when I was in the back of the crowd waiting patiently. Her kids were running through my legs and around others, but I guess somehow that was my fault. I was so mad that she just came up to me and started screaming at me instead of controlling her children more effectively. She acted like her children were entitled to get autographs before anyone else. Can't stand parents like these.
Mike Mee: 4/4
Dallas Buck: 7/7

It's nice to see someone got vocal with you about your bad habit of pushing and shoving for autographs. I still have bruises all over my legs and arms from when where kicking and scratching trying to obtaining Ryne Sandberg's autograph back in mid May.

Yes, I always make sure my elbows are nice and sharp for when he is in town.

Your not going to be in Kane County Friday night are you?... I just need to know if I need to wear a helmet and other protective gear.

Peoria Chiefs @ Kane County Cougars 6/11

Got to the park late but about ten minutes before game time. As I walked in Jemile Weeks was right by the first base fence and he came right over. It started pouring rain in the third inning and the game was cancelled. Luckily I was able to lure the players I needed under a roof. This turned what could have been an ugly time into a successful night. Corey Brown got called up yesterday, so this was probably the only disappointment of the night.

Cougars:

Jemile Weeks: 6/9 6/8 Really nice guy who both times he signed said, "he only had time for a couple", but he always did more.
Greg Dowling: 9/9 2008 Bowman Chrome card is not him but Tommy Everidge and vise versa. He will sign both cards!
Tyson Ross: 15/15 Nice guy who was a very willing signer.

Chiefs:

Dae-Eun Rhee: 10/10 Finally got this guy on my MWL Top Prospects Sets. He is super cool. He signed 20+ cards for another chaser.

No Ryne Sandberg? I'm hoping the rain will hold off for tonights doubleheader. Nice to hear on Ross... I have about 40 cards for him.

Wisconsin:

Phillippe Aumont: 2/6 4/4 Continues with the inconsistent limits. The more variety the more he will sign.

Is Aumont just getting tired of seeing you, or is he continuing with the random limits?

Yes, I think there is some fatigue with signing for me only because he signed more for others.
