Dodgers

I finally did some major league (I only do it 2-3 times a year and I only graph the Dodgers, while they go to other stadiums). I can't stand major leaguers and the big crowds they bring. There were the most people I've ever seen graphing outside the stadium (20-30)
Dodgers at Angels

Dodgers
Juan Pierre 1/1 showed up 1 and 30 mins before everyone
Andre Ethier 2/2 signed for everyone
Ramon Martinez 1/2
Derek Lowe 1/1
Andy Laroche 1/1 came out with Russell Martin and EVERYONE went to Martin and I was the only one to get Laroche.
Delwyn Young 1/1
Jose Vizcaino 1/1 I'm still not sure why he was there or if that was him?

Missed:
Martin signed about 15
Andruw Jones about 5
Kent, Saito, Kuroda, Furcal, Abreu-ignored everyone
everyone else either went on the bus or went in the other entrance.

Same here!! He usually signs 3 or 4 while he walks. But today, he went to me first, and signed for most people and the craziest part was that he was the starting pitcher!!!!!

Thanks! It looked just like him and I just got him on a team sheet.

Andruw Jones signing

Today, I went to an Andruw Jones signing at Niketown in Beverly Hills. He was promoting his new shoe. It was absolutely the best signing I've ever been to. There were no more than 50 people there. He was signing everything for everyone (even though not many people had much, including me). He gave away a signed 8x10 Nike portrait to each person, so I thought that was cool. He signed my 2 cards with my pen and gave me a signed photo too. I hate double dipping, but there was no line, and he was willing to sign so I went back a 2nd time and he signed an OMLB for me on the sweet spot. I wish all signings were like this. It's funny when guys like Kelvin Escobar and James Loney have 200-300 people in the lines, and a 5 time allstar has such a short line.

Andruw Jones
3/2 2 cards and his photo
2/1 SS OMLB and his photo.

Sorry, I don't know how to scan baseballs:

Rancho Cucamonga at Lake Elsinore

Long story, short: horrible pregame/terrific postgame. Met up with Smatt and Wiseandeck. Didn't have much quantity, but I got basically every guy I needed.

Rancho Cucamonga
Trevor Bell 2/2
Mark Trumbo 2/2
David Herndon 1/1
Kelly Shearer 1/1
Tommy Mendoza 1/2
Peter Bourjos 1/1
Francisco Matos 1/1
P.J. Phillips 3/3

Lake Elsinore
Nate Culp 1/1
Mitch Canham 2/2
Ernesto Frieri 1/1
Cory Kluber 4/8 Limit, or in a rush? I don't know.
Eric Sogard 6/6
Cory Luebke 8/8

Waited an additional 15 minutes for the coaches, and then I didn't feel like waiting any longer.

Good night. Good morning to some of you!

I don't know what happened to my scanner, but the Canham and Frieri were signed in the same blue pen, but it looks way different in the scan.

Lancaster at Inland Empire

Was fun to go to a half empty Wednesday game. Today, I was limited by 4 players, so that is a single A record, but however all guys were really nice about it. MUCH MUCH better than seeing Dejesus last year.

Lancaster
Zak Farkes 2/2 nicest guy on team
Reid Engel 3/3 all the same card
Jon Still 2/4 limit
Carlos Febles 8/8 he brought over some of the Latin players and he should of his old cards for a good three minutes
Lars Anderson 5/5 nice guy
Mickey Hall 4/8
Josh Papelbon 7/7 said he would come back and came back

Inland Empire
Matt Berezay 2/2
Josh Bell 1/2 limit
Eduardo Perez 1/1
Brent Leach 1/1 added his usual God Bless
Trayvon Robinson 1/2 limit
Alberto Bastardo 2/2

Brian,

Why? They bring so much talent into the league. In the last two years we have gotten Masterson, Michael Bowden, Lars Anderson and Kris Johnson.

I hope Boston stays in the Cal League for a long time.

Yeah, but traditionally the Cal League is full of talent anyway. I'd rather have talent over here that isn't full of themselves yet and afraid collectors are going to sell their stuff. Nor do I want guys that are so hyped up by the East Coast media that they think they're God's gift. It's freaking high-A!

It's no coincidence that Lancaster has the most limits. I can see Lars Anderson and Bowden having limits. But Jon Still? Reid Engel? MICKEY HALL? Please.
