What is this garbage? Does anyone else have these ads pop up in the first post of a thread and throw the placement of the post all off? They are also at the top of certain forums within the boards. Pain in the butt and they look terrible.

It says Ads by Google and it's a bunch of links to autographs and sports and stuff and it says Sponsered Links under "Last Post".

They go away when you log in.

Yeah, its only for visitors. Once you login, POOF, they are gone.

Figured I'd make some money off the people who havent registered yet.

It is a membership site. The sneak peek portion is something like 20 threads before you are locked out.

I just logged out and went through about 50 threads, including the TTM address thread, and never got locked out. I could read everything.

You didnt log out completely then and delete your computers cookies from this site. If you had, you would have seen what non-registered members see after 20 threads.

I have also read the forum at the library without signing on and was never locked out.

After a certain # of threads, you will be. I thought it was 20, maybe it was 50. I will go check.

So your point is to catch Alan on something? I guess the one thing that everyone is forgeting is if you are not a member you can't post. You can read all you want. I am sure a lot of the content is available for free on other websites but you would have to look for it. I never thought that $5 would mean this much.

Actually I was wrong. After 25 threads it forces you to register. 25 more threads and you are locked out completely unless you setup your subscription.
