Never complain about your minor league team doing a set.

It cost $75.00 per player card in lots of 500.from Multi Sports. So for one years worth of sets # to 500 it cost $2,250.00. Of those 500 sets, they may sell half of them and give the rest away.

Where did you get those figures and I find it real hard to believe that the average team only sells 250 sets otherwise why would they do them

When I 1st read that I read it has 500 sets for 79.95. Not true after my email.

Some teams order between 500 to 1000 sets. Half go to the gift shop and half go to promotions. The only way it is any lower for your team, is if its sponsored by a business in your community. Your team doesn't make any money on the card sets and that why most don't care when they get them. The only thing that hold them up is payment and the team not returning the proof sheet.

That is minimum pricing for "one off" cards... whole sets run about $2500.00-3,000.00 for a 30 card set per 1000, or no more than $3.00 per set. This is why sme places sell them for $6.00 (harrisburg) and double there money, and some pace sell for $15.00 and make 5X the money! Costs go up (per set average) if you only get 500 sets (short season) and go down 9average) if you get more than 1000 sets (aa/aaa teams).

Many teams will charge a sponcer the printing cost in exchange for putting there logo on the back, and thus the sets are "free" for the team, making all sales pure profit.

Memphis usually has a first run that they sell out (if they get the set out with at least 20 home games left). Then they order a second run, which doesn't always sell out depending who is in it. Only one year have they given away sets to the public as a promotion.

I called the rockcats and the lady said she's allmost certain its out. She heard rumblings about it the other day, so Id say they have it in already.
