Graphing at the Rock

Me and some friends are planning on graphing some devils games at the prudential center this year. Was wondering if anyone has tried before and could give me any tips on where to go to get the players either on their way in or their way out from games.

thanks, howard

I found it very tough. I tried graphing a couple of college basketball games last november and the back of arena is blocked off. Couldn't get access to the team busses. Also, on both ends there are guards. Granted that was for basketball. My guess is that for hockey, you have to be lucky enough that a player will stop in car coming out of that closed in back lot.

Across the parking lot is the players entrance, over by the Practice rink. There is a small barrier preventing fans from getting to the door, but you should'nt have any problems graphing. I will be trying myself a few times this season as well. Might be there Friday for opening nite, although I can expect it to be crowded there.

what time do you think you would need to show up to get the players on their way in for a 7 or 7:30 game?

thanks for the tips,
howard

Early. The players usually arrive for a morning skate around 8am, at least that's what I was told.
