I am looking for help with "Family" related players.
My collection of these type of players is in the 100's with many complete sets...
I.E. The Alous, Alomars and many others. The typical father/son combinations as well as brother/brother sets are increasing weekly....but my research as led to many many more.

This part of my collecting I find very rewarding.

The collection goes beyound these typical sets..umpires(Wendelstedts) , front office (Seligs), Minor Leaguers(Turgeons) with no ML experience. college coaches...anything related to baseball.

Here is a list of players that I need help on with viable addresses, know succeses and what cards (if any) are available.

Don't know if you know it, but Boog Powell and Carl Taylor are step-brothers. You'll have to look it up, but I also believe that Boog's brother Charlie Powell, was in the Orioles farm system. He never made the grade to the majors.

You might be right but I thought I read somewhere that they were....
Its like Dave Johnson (Orioles P) and Aaron Johnson, I know I read that somewhere but now I can't find it. Does anyone know if this indeed and father/son duet?

Tom Trebelhorn(Former Brewers MAnager and O's Coach) has a son Robbie who was a coach in the O's minor league system and is now a sales rep for some baseball equiptment company and is around Spring Training a lot. (Louisville Slugger?)

I have a baseball signed by Scott And Jerry (jr) hairston, that I keep forgetting to bring to AZ to get Jerry Sr on... and their grandfather Sam Hairston was a former MLB/negro Leaguer...

Thanks alot for the post...I have all the Hairston's except Sam...that signature would make a rare 4 set. I have cards of Sam but he has past.

I didn't know that about Treblehorn..I will have to look for cards of him. Seems that I might have gotten a business card from Tom when he returned.

John Jr is with Winston Salem and has a 2006 Bowman Chrome card... as for Robbie Trebelhorn, he has a late 90's Bluefireld Orioles card as a coach (maybe early 2000's?)
