His numbers are solid across the board and maybe it is better for him just to be able to play and fly under the radar, as opposed to a guy who is hyped from week to week as a top prospect.
He has struck out 99 times in 306 at-bats, but his on-base percentage is still around .360, even with his batting average hovering at the .265 mark.
What is probably impressive is his athleticism: 55 runs scored, 17 steals and six triples to go with 12 home runs and 12 doubles.
By the sound of things, you'd think he was hitting .202 and showing no 'baseball aptitude' whatsoever.
