Yes it is a good thing but they frown upon multiple clicks from the same ip address, meaning they only pay you for clicks from unique ip addresses. I learned the hard way by having my friends click the links on my site each day and I would also click from work and in two months of clicking I had close to $100 in my adsense account then they looked in to it and saw that the majority of the clicks came from the same ip addresses and they shut my account down and the money was gone.
