on a side note about 5 years ago me and "BATS" (an occasional TPA poster) went to try and track down steve d. at his house in charlotte....went, some random old dude answered and said steve wasnt their (said he was a golf pro and worked all the time at some local course) wouldnt give us the course name though so my dreams of hitting him up at the 9th tee box were thrwarted

in the past i used to do this exclusivly...over the 50 or so players i talked to only 1 ever gave me a hard time about it
now i just send a letter asking if its the ex-player and if its ok to send cards....i include a postcard, if that come back, out go the cards

Any players say they would sign and didn't?

Wiggins I believe is still bouncing around minor league ball (I think back in the Yankees org.). Vierra has been with the Newark Bears the past two seasons. Ortega has an address in Harvey's list but doesn't seem to answer auto requests.
